Catching up on things.
Seems like it’s been a few months without any posts. Have you forgotten about us?
First things first, the schedule has finally been updated with our October movies. Check it out if you’re curious to see what is playing when!
Second, we are trying to move away from our Facebook Group by introducing our very own Clemson TV Fanpage on Facebook! Want to know what’s even cooler? Our Fanpage widgit is now on our website main page. Look to your right. See it over there? Awesome, right?

In case you’re tired of movie after movie, we have a few options of alternative shows you might want to watch. Every Wednesday, at 8:30 pm, we hold our live youtube show. After that, at 9 pm, is Sports Central – CTV’s very own, all exclusive, music show. Thursday night, 7-9, is Live Sessions – live music!

Staff Elections to be held 3/10
CTV will be holding staff elections on Wednesday 3/10. Please fill out the Clemson Television Staff Application and submit it to the box outside 304A in the Media Suite on the 3rd floor of Hendrix Student Center by Monday 3/8. Position descriptions can be found here (pdf).

Allison Weiss on WSBF and CTV Friday 2/19 from 7-9p
WSBF has Allison Weiss coming in for their Friday Night Live session on 2/19 from 7-9p. CTV will be airing the entire thing on Channel 99.
There will also be an impromptu concert later on that night down at Friend’s Cafe (just past the Astro) around 10. Check out her site and WSBF for more details.
The Movies Are Late Again?
Due to delays in shipping, we are not going to receive the next batch of movies in until mid-afternoon this Friday. This month’s movies will expire just after midnight on Friday morning (with the conclusion of Public Enemies starting at 11pm Thursday), and afterward we will be playing some filler content until everything has come in and been updated.

Drop-in Wednesday (The Remake)
CTV will have the doors open again Wednesday, January 27th from 7:30 until 9pm. We’ll be taking about the various opportunities available at CTV including News and Entertainment Shows. Stay until 8:30 to get on a live broadcast of the Internet Video show.

Programming Director Position Open
CTV has an opening in the Programming Director position to be filled immediately.
The Programming Director’s job is to schedule all programming, as well as to assess the preferences of the viewing audience for the type, time, frequency, etc. of different types of programming.
